The Texas Tech football team has added a new member to its 2025 recruiting class.
Gil Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback from Fort Bend Ridge Point, announced his commitment to the Red Raiders via social media on Saturday.
Jackson was listed as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and held offers from Vanderbilt, Air Force, Alabama State and Army, among others. He becomes the 13th member of the Class of 2025 to commit to Tech this season.
According to Max Preps, Jackson recorded 12 tackles, three interceptions and six pass deflections as a high school senior.
