The Yellow Jackets had their best round of the tournament on Saturday, but could only move up one spot on the leaderboard, unable to keep pace with the leaders and finishing seven strokes behind tournament champion Georgia. Tech finished the tournament with a 6-over 846. Forester and Lamprecht tied for 11th, the highest individual ranking for the Jackets.th The venue is TPC Harding Park.
Tech will return to action April 7-9 for the final regular season event, the Calusa Cup, to be held in Naples, Florida.
Tech lineup – Forrester, a senior from Gainesville, Georgia, had his best round of the spring season so far, posting a 66 with five birdies and one bogey, while Lamprecht, a senior from George, South Africa, had five birdies and one bogey. Both players finished the tournament with an even-par score of 210 with four bogeys.
2nd grade Hiroshi Tai (Singapore) and a new student Carson Kim (Yorba Linda, California) The Yellow Jackets' other two scores were each a 2-over-par 72, with the freshman Cale Fontenot (Lafayette, Louisiana) He had 73 shots on Saturday, but they were not reflected in Tech's team score.
Kim tied for 33rd placerd Tie at 3 over par 213, tie at 68th 218 (+8), Fontnot tied at 80th At 219 (+9).
2nd grade Aidan Tran (Fresno, California) Participated as an individual and tied for 92nd place.n.d. After posting a 75 on Saturday, I was ranked 220th (+10).

team leaderboard – Georgia State had three players finish below-average rounds Saturday as No. 22n.d.The first-place Bulldogs shot a 5-under 275, beating Utah by one stroke and earning team honors. Georgia State was the only team to finish the tournament under par (839, -1), while the Utes finished the tournament with an even-par 840.
Tournament host Stanford University placed third with 844 (+4), followed by University of Tennessee (845, +5) and Tech University in seventh place with 846 (+6).
Brigham Young (+8), San Francisco (+9), Pepperdine (+11), UCLA (+12) and Oregon (+14) rounded out the top 10 in the 31-team field.
personal leaderboard – Braxton Watts of Utah shot a 2-under 68 on Saturday and won the individual event by one stroke at 5-under 205. Stanford University's Michael Thorbjornsen, who shot a 67 on Saturday, was second at 4 under. Par 206.
Georgia's Ben Van Wyk, the 36-hole leader, shot a 71 on Saturday to fall into a tie for third with Clemson's Jonathan Nielsen and San Francisco's Jacob Melin at 207 (-3). Four players tied for sixth at 208 (-2), with UCLA's William Walsh rounding out the top 10 at 209 (-1).
Tech's Forester and Lamprecht were among eight players tied for 11th place.th Even par 210.
Tournament information – Georgia Tech has appeared at The Goodwin four times, finishing second in 2023. The event is named after legendary head coach Wally Goodwin, who led the Cardinal program from 1987 to 2000, and will be held at one of the nation's elite courses. TPC Harding Park is set to host the event for the third time in school history, having served as headquarters in 2018. TPC Harding Park has played host to numerous PGA Tour events, including the 2009 Presidents Cup and the 2020 PGA Championship. TPC Harding Park is set up as a 6,939 yard, par 70 layout.
The field is the largest the Yellow Jackets have faced all year, featuring Appalachian State, BYU (43), California (19), Cal Baptist, Cal Davis, Cal Poly, Clemson, Colorado and Georgia (22). A total of 31 teams competed against each other.
