Former National Semiconductor executive Michael Polachek and his wife, Anna, are selling their waterfront mansion in Pescadero, California, for $7.98 million.
The Polaseks purchased the 18-acre oceanfront property for $750,000 in 2001 and built their dream home, which was completed in 2008.
The 6,600-square-foot contemporary steel-and-glass residence features six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The home offers many amenities, including a two-story great room, chef's kitchen, spacious primary suite, and multiple balconies and patios. It also boasts a two-story sunroom and indoor pool with an underwater channel that connects to an outdoor lap pool. Outdoors, there are flower beds, an orchard, a chicken coop, and a large barn.
Eva and Jeff Chen of Compass are the real estate agents.
According to Jeff Chen, the home is a blend of various architectural styles, “incorporating the innovative vision of Frank Lloyd Wright, I.M. Pei, Tadao Ando and Frank Gehry.”
