Throughout the competitive season, Biles, 27, has been performing her gymnastics floor exercise to Swift's “Ready for It?” from her 2017 album, Ready for It? reputation. The gold medalist performed the song on the first day of the Olympic Trials on Friday, June 28, and it impressed the 34-year-old pop star.
“I've watched it so many times and I'm not ready. But she is,” Swift gushed with X in response to NBC Sports' coverage of the choreography on Saturday, June 29. Swift also added three clapping emojis, as well as emojis representing a gold medal, an American flag, and a red heart.
The Swift-inspired routine earned Biles a score of 14.850, putting her atop the all-around standings as she advances to the next round of qualifiers on Sunday, June 30, for a spot on the U.S. women's gymnastics team.
