The flyweight bout will take place in Australia.
Newcomer Stewart Nicol will make his promotional debut against Jesus Aguilar on August 17 at UFC 305. The event will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia.
Two people with knowledge of the fight recently informed MMA Junkie about it but requested anonymity because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.
Australia's Nicol (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has won seven of his eight pro fights and is considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the region. Nicol made his name with Beatdown Promotions, a local fighting company fronted by former UFC fighter Damien Brown.
Aguilar (10-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) is coming off back-to-back wins over Shannon Ross and Matheus Mendonca since losing to Tatsuro Taira in his promotional debut.
With this addition, the UFC 305 lineup now includes:

- Steve Erceg vs. Kai Kara-France

- Li Jingliang vs. Carlos Pratt
