break out a big battle
While every match is expected to be exciting, there is even more interest in the next match.
Kane Cornes vs Nathan Brown
Cornes, who is not one to shy away from controversy, admitted that many people would like to see him get beaten by Brown on Wednesday night.
But boxing icon Danny Green believes Cornes will be the “most motivated” fighter to compete on the night and wouldn't be at all surprised if Cornes raises his hand after the final bell. .
At Tuesday night's weigh-in, the former power star admitted he was paid by a South Australian real estate company to put his company name on the bottom of his boxing boots because that's where he would have the most exposure.
“My job is to make sure it doesn't air tomorrow night,” he laughed.
Asked by boxing legend Danny Green about his plans for fight night, Brown said, “I think we both just want to respect the sport of boxing.”
Cornes seemed to be in much better shape than Brown, but Brown joked that he was the overwhelming favorite to win, with the first prize being “about $1.10.”
Mitch Robinson vs Kane Pettyfer
Both players have been taking their training very seriously and Green believes this match will be the best in terms of technique from the soccer stars.
“Pez has been boxing for a long time,” Green said. “Mitch has been boxing for a little while, but he loves it so much that he plans to continue as long as he wins.”
Dane Swan vs Dale Thomas
They are both very competitive and are good friends outside of the ring.
Swann said he has been training for boxing for many years and is in the best shape he has been in a while.
“I'm not a full-time boxer. I've had to juggle my own lifestyle and three young children, but I got the job done,” Swan told Daily Mail Australia. .
“I can do four rounds easily, but it's just a matter of how many shots I get.'' But I'm ready to go.
“Boxing is one of the disciplines I've always enjoyed. I hate running, I've never lifted weights since I was forced to while playing AFL, and swimming is boring too.
“I was going to fight you a few years ago, but it failed. You asked me to do this, so please give me the money this time.”
Jackson England vs Jamel Herring
Professional fighters are competing for the WBO world super featherweight title.
Herring is a former world champion and has been in the ring with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Australian England is an exciting fighter and came to Adelaide to make his point against the smart Americans.
Alex Leapai Jr. vs Joe Ageli
Rugby league giant Alex Leapai Jr. has terminated his NRL contract with the Gold Coast Titans to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father and focus on boxing.
Alex Leapai Sr. fought former heavyweight giant Wladimir Klitschko for the world title in 2014, and many are encouraging his talented son to go all the way.
“I'm fit and ready to go,” Alex Junior told Daily Mail Australia.
