Carlinville 8, Litchfield 1: For Carlinville, Harry Gibson hit a triple and finished with two hits and three RBIs in the South Central Conference win inside the circle.
She pitched a complete game and had seven strikeouts. She surrendered with just two hits, two walks, and one run. Addison Lyle hit her eighth home run of the season, and Isabella Tiburzi had three hits and two RBIs.
Hannah Gibson added two hits, one RBI and two RBIs. Carly Tipps also scored two points for the Cavaliers (14-3 overall, 4-0 SCC).
Laney Wyatt hit a solo home run for the Purple Panthers (5-6, 0-2).
Buffalo Tri-City/Sangamon Valley 8, Petersburg Porta 0: For Buffalo, Lily Woodworth hit a home run and pitched a shutout game for the nonconference victory.
He had four hits, three walks, and 12 strikeouts. Kamryn Sturdy went 2-for-3 with a double, including two hits and two RBIs. Lexi Patton also had two hits, including a double, for a total of 14 wins and 3 losses.
Gabby Brunson took the loss in the sixth inning. He had eight hits, one walk, six earned runs, and two strikeouts.
Chatham Glenwood 5, Effingham 2: For Chatham, Sophia Feld hit a game-winning three-run home run in the fourth inning, taking a big step toward a nonconference victory.
Riley Keel had a double and an RBI, and Kathy Feld had a hit and an RBI. Cathy pitched 6 innings, striking out 4, allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run for the win.
Pleasant Plains 9, Pawnee 8: For the Plains, Jillian Cameron hit a walk-off RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, and they escaped with a non-conference victory.
Brianna Nesler led off the first inning with a walk, then scored the go-ahead run.
Cameron hit the ball from the ninth hole and finished with two hits and two RBIs. Aspen Kitowski had four hits in four at bats, including two doubles, and one RBI. Delaney Murphy had two hits and two RBIs.
Kayden Skinner pitched a complete game win. He allowed nine hits, two walks, six earned runs, and five strikeouts.
Abba Rodriguez hit a home run and finished with two hits, four RBIs, and two runs scored.
Gillespie 11, Breath Meter DEI 0 (5 times): For Gillespie, Sadie Soltis hit two doubles and went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in and two RBIs in the non-conference win.
Eva Parrish hit a home run and had two hits and two RBIs. Emma Gipson had two hits and one RBI while scoring six points inside the circle. She won by allowing two hits and three walks.
Athens 5, Rushville – Industry 4: In Athens, Karlie Zorc hit a walk-off RBI double in the seventh inning to secure the nonconference victory.
Szouk had two hits and two RBIs. Isabelle Ingram also had two hits. Ryken Buch got the complete game victory. He allowed five hits, seven walks, three earned runs, and one strikeout.
Italy Ford suffered a loss in the sixth inning. He allowed six hits, four walks, five runs, and four strikeouts. Devin Vogler had two hits for the Rockets.
Jacksonville 12, New Berlin 2 (5 times): For Jacksonville, Mackenzie Gerrard hit a home run to center field in the fifth inning, giving her three hits and three RBIs for the conference victory.
Kenzie Lo was victorious. He had three hits, two earned runs, four strikeouts, and no walks.
East Peoria 6, Lincoln 1: At Lincoln University, Keira Brown had a complete game victory with four hits, one walk, and one run, with a total of 10 strikeouts.
Taryn Stolzenberg had two hits and one RBI for Lincoln.
Liberty 7, Beardstown 0: In the game against Liberty, Beardstown had a total of seven hits, but was unable to score beyond home plate and lost the game.
Vanessa Nunez had two hits to lead the Tigers.
Chandler John pitched a complete game victory. She had three walks and two strikeouts.

Rochester 3, Mahomet Seymour 0: Against Mahomet, Taylor Offer assisted on Jada Sperry's opening goal and then scored the team's game-winning goal in a non-conference victory.
Charlotte Beatty assisted Audrey Lowder for a 2-0 lead at halftime. Alice Day made four saves and earned her seventh shutout of the season. Rochester (8-4-1) had 11 shots on goal.
Litchfield 5, Riverton/Buffalo Tri-City 0: Chloe Law scored a hat trick and Avery Stewart scored two goals in the non-conference victory over Litchfield.
Stewart and Roe each scored two goals in the first half, leading 4-0 at halftime and improving to 6-5 overall. Kyndall Roe made three saves.
Brianna Walker made 14 saves for Riverton (2-11-2).
Auburn 7, Pana 0: For Pana, Callie Gil had four goals and one assist, contributing to the non-conference victory.
Gil scored the team's first three goals for a 3-0 lead at halftime, assisted by Emme Divyak and Lauren Spelbrink, who had three assists.
Carissa Clark scored twice in the second half. Divjak also found the back of the net after the break. Abby Harvey made one save.
