Wednesday's agenda will center on the Utah Department of Transportation and public transportation planning for the 2034 Winter Games.
The day begins with an opening presentation at Rice-Eccles Stadium and concludes with an afternoon tour of the stadium. After that, UTA will hold a “traffic preparedness briefing,” the press release said. During the conference, the IOC will ride a special Olympic-wrapped TRAX train from Fort Douglas to Delta Center in downtown Salt Lake.
UTA said a special Olympic image emblazoned with the phrase “Ready to Move the World Again” will be unveiled on July 24, an anticipated day ahead of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. It was announced that the stickers will be displayed on special TRAX vehicles until the Olympic bid is announced.
Thursday's agenda will consist of a community forum from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Eccles Theater. The rest of the agenda Thursday and Friday will revolve around multiple proposed venues.
