Sean Strickland has aired his dissatisfaction with the pay of UFC fighters and expressed interest in fighting Jake Paul.

Strickland (28-6 MMA), a former UFC middleweight champion, is still licking his wounds from a loss to Drikas du Plessis (21-2 MMA) at UFC 297 in January of this year. Strickland's first title defense ended in a split. -I lost by decision on the night of January 20th.
Tarzan is no stranger to harshly criticizing the pay of UFC fighters.
Strickland is in the news again, “X” and said:
Here's the problem.
The UFC is not the NFL or NBA, it's all about slitting throats. You can't leave this sport happy or well
If I fought Jake Paul, 1. I would kill him, but 2. We would make millions.
Everyone may experience this at work.Pay disparity continues to widen

“Here's the thing, folks. The UFC is absolutely fierce, unlike the NFL or the NBA. You can't leave this sport happily or well.”
“If I fought Jake Paul, 1. I would kill him, but 2. We would make millions.”
“I'm sure you've all experienced it at work. The pay gap is only getting wider.”
The average annual salary in the NFL is about $2.8 million, which doesn't compare to the UFC.
The average annual salary in the NBA is about $10 million, but that doesn't even compare to the UFC.
It was Jake Paul who said this about “X” before.
“No major sports organization pays its athletes as low as Dana White and the UFC. If you can't see that, you're one of Dana's sheep. They're talking about selling out 21 consecutive tournaments. We keep talking about it, but we never talk about raising the pay of our fighters, healthcare and fair revenue sharing.”
Apparently Strickland and Paul are on the same page.
The next Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match will be held on Saturday, July 20th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It was leaked that Tyson would pocket the $20 million purse he won from that fight.
Perhaps it was the attention that drew Strickland that led to comments that he would make millions of dollars for a match with the “problem child” – much more than working for the UFC.
Do you think fighters should get paid more in the UFC? Would you like to see Sean Strickland vs. Jake Paul in the ring?
