SARANAC LAKE — The Sara Placid Lakers youth hockey organization held its year-end awards ceremony Saturday at the Saranac Lake Civic Center. The organization recognized more than 130 players this season and presented several awards.
The winners are:
The Joseph Dolts Memorial Award (Squirts) for outstanding play and sportsmanship was presented to Wyatt Crosby and Estelle Walden.
 ̄ The Clinton McDougall Memorial Award for Outstanding Play and Sportsmanship (Pee Wees) was presented to Jonah Taylor and Finn Seguin.
The Twerp Amell Memorial Award (12u Girls), which celebrates sportsmanship, effort, loyalty, fair play and citizenship, was presented to Madeline Clark and Quinlin Dunn.
The Donald E. Duffy Memorial Award was presented to Abilene Varner and Andrew Varner for demonstrating qualities of faith, perseverance, positive attitude, dedication and respect.
