Joining the Lancers this fall Caitlin Caraway (Chester, Virginia/Thomas Dale) Cailin Donlevy (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania/Cumberland Valley) Ella Elliott (Newport News/Menchville, VA), Madison Hyatt (Fredericksburg/Mountain View/Richmond, VA), Chanie Johnson (Gloucester, Virginia/Gloucester/St. Joseph) Brenna Kajeski (Galesville, Maryland/South) Sophie Moerdijk (Breda, Netherlands/Onze Lieve) Amy Pisterman (Virginia Beach, Virginia/Kelham) Jane Ramsay (Brisbane, Australia/St. Peter's Lutheran University/Louisville) Molly Rosenberger (Fleetwood/Oley Valley, PA) Matea Vest (St. Louis, Missouri/Co-Jesus Academy).
“I am excited to announce and welcome eight freshmen and one graduate transfer student to our program this fall. This group is joined by two additional transfer students this spring who have already made an immediate impact,” said Rigg, who will begin his third year as head coach in August. “The members of this freshman class have special qualities both playing and as people that will propel our program forward. The 2024 group is extremely hard-working, talented and passionate about learning and growing as people. I hope these freshmen will continue to elevate Longwood's competitive spirit and help us move forward as we challenge for a MAC championship.”

Callaway comes to Longwood from Chester, Virginia, where he was a three-year team captain and first-team All-Region and All-Metro selection at State.
Cailin Donlevy
5-7 | Forwards
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
Cumberland Valley
Donlevy, a forward from Mechanicsburg, Pa., comes to Longwood after serving as a team captain earning All-Conference, All-State and All-Sentinal honors as a senior. She scored nine goals and assisted on three goals this season.
Ella Elliott

Menchi Building
Elliott joined the Lancers after attending Menchville High School where she excelled for four seasons. She was a four-time All-District and All-Region selection. She was named Player of the Year during her senior season, scoring 30 goals and recording 14 assists.
Madison Hyatt
5-3 | Forwards
Fredericksburg, Virginia
Mountain View | Richmond
Hyatt joins the Lancers as a graduate transfer from Richmond. He started all 18 games with the Spiders during his senior season, recording three goals and four assists. He was named to the 2021 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and has appeared in 60 career games, with 59 starts.

Gloucester | St. Joseph
Johnson comes to Longwood after one season at St. Joseph's in Philadelphia. The midfielder joined the Lancers in the spring. She was a two-time region and district player of the year and a two-time first-team all-state selection.
Brenna Kajeski
5-4 | Midfield
Galesville, Maryland
Southern
Kajeski, a native of Galesville, Maryland, was named to the All-County Second Team as a senior at Southern High School and was also named the Scholar Athlete of the Year, recording nine goals and 13 assists in his senior season.
Sophie Moerdijk
5-6 | Goalkeeper
Breda, Netherlands
Onze Reeve
Moerdijk will join the Lancers' goalkeeping corps after attending Onze Lieve in the Netherlands.
Amy Pisterman
5-7 | Midfield
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Kellam
Pisterman came to Longwood after being a four-year letterman at Kellam High School, where she was named Region 6 Outstanding Player of the Year as a senior.
Jane Ramsay
5-6 | Forwards
Brisbane, Australia
St. Peter's Lutheran University | Louisville
Ramsey comes to Longwood after two seasons at Louisville. As a sophomore for the Cardinals, she played in 18 games and scored two goals. As a freshman, she played in all 20 games and scored two goals. She was named to the All-ACC Academic Team. Ramsey joined the Lancers in the spring.
Molly Rosenberger
5-5 | Defence/Midfield

Oley Valley
Rosenberger was a four-year letterman at Oley Valley High School and was also selected to the All-State team, where he scored five goals and assisted on five goals as a senior while leading his team to the PIAA State Championship.

Col Jez Academy
Best joined the Lancers after attending Co. Jess Academy where she was a letterman for three seasons, where she was named first team all-state and all-conference as a senior, recording two goals, 15 assists and three defensive saves.
The Lancers are scheduled to open their season on Aug. 21 at noon with an exhibition match against Lynchburg.
