The El Paso Rhinos of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce their forward. luke lindsay He has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Bethel University in the MIAC.
Lindsay, a 20-year-old coming out of high school, played in one game for the Chippewa Steel during the 2021-2022 season. After a brief stint with the Steel, the Eau Claire, Wis., native spent the next season with the Aberdeen Wings, recording 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in 40 games and appearing in the Robertson Cup three times. did. playoff game.
After starting the 2023-2024 season with Aberdeen, the 6-foot-1 blue liner was transferred to the Rhinos after 15 games, scoring 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists) in 43 games as a stalwart for El Paso. As a result, he was selected to compete in the 2024 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Robertson Cup Playoffs begin this weekend, with Lindsay and the Rhinos hosting a best-of-three series against the Oklahoma Warriors at the El Paso County Event Center.
Lindsey is the second player to commit to the Rhinos this season and will join Bethel University's 16 NAHL and NA3HL alumni in the fall.
