UFC on ESPN 58 took place on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable night with four of the 11 bouts finishing.
One of those came in the main event, but it was due to injury: Tatsuro Taira (16-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) remained undefeated with a second-round TKO of Alex Perez (24-9 MMA, 6-5 UFC) after injuring his knee during a takedown attempt.

Tatsuro Taira wins. Alex Perez
Taira's 16-fight winning streak is the longest among active UFC flyweight fighters, tied with As Almabaev.
Taira's five straight wins at UFC flyweight are the third-longest in the division behind Alexandre Pantoja (six straight wins) and Mohamed Mokaev (six straight wins).
Of Taira's 16 career wins, 12 have come by stoppage.
Perez has come via stoppage in four of his five losses at UFC.
Miles Johns defeats Douglas Silva de Andrade
Myles Johns (15-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) has won four of his six UFC wins by decision.
Douglas Silva de Andrade (29-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) began his career with a 23-0 record but has gone 7-6 in his last 13 fights.
Lucas Almeida defeats Timmy Cuamba
Lucas Almeida (15-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) earned his first career decision victory.
Timmy Quiamba (8-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has lost two of his three career fights by decision.
Brady Heistand defeats Garrett Armfield
Hiestand (8-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has won six of his eight career victories by stoppage.
Garrett Armfield (10-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) has had three stoppage losses in his career, all of which have come by submission.
As Almabaev defeats Jose Johnson
Abu Almabaev (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has won two of his three UFC wins by decision.
Almabaev's 16-match mixed martial arts win streak is the longest among active UFC flyweight fighters, tied with Tyra.
Jose Johnson (16-9 MMA, 1-2 UFC) failed in his UFC flyweight debut.
Adam Fugitt defeats Josh Quinlan
Adam Fugitt (10-4 MMA, 2-2 UFC) earned his first decision victory in 2,653 days and 12 fights since March 11, 2017.
Josh Quinlan (6-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) started his career undefeated in seven fights but then lost three in a row.
Quinlan has lost two of his three career losses by decision.
Nate Maness defeats Jimmy Flick
Nate Maness (16-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) improved to 2-1 since moving down to the UFC flyweight division in November 2022.
Westin Wilson wins. Jeka Saragi
Westin Wilson (17-9 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has won all 17 of his career victories by stoppage.
Wilson earned the 12th arm-triangle submission in UFC history.
Jeka Zaragi (14-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has suffered four losses in his career, all by stoppage.
Saragi has suffered three of his four career losses by submission.
Melkisael Costa wins. Shaylan Nurdanbieque
Josefine Knutsson beats Julia Polastri
Josefine Knutsson (8-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) has won seven of her eight career victories by decision.
Giulia Polastri (12-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has lost all four of her previous fights by decision.
