Susannah Tapani scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime of the series on Tuesday night, helping Boston defeat Montreal 3-2 and advance to the Women's Professional Hockey League Championship Series.
Boston won five in a row, but Montreal ended the season with four losses.
Tapani's winning goal came just 62 seconds into overtime. Alina Muller cut back to the middle of the ice and took a shot, but it bounced off the pads of Anne-Renee Desbiens, leaving Tapani open at the backdoor for an easy tap-in.

Five of the seven games between the teams this season went to overtime, including Taylor Wenkowski's triple-overtime win on Saturday, making it the longest game in PWHL history at over 111 minutes. .
Aerin Frankel, who set a PWHL save record for the second consecutive game with a 56-save performance on Saturday, defended Boston in Game 3 after falling behind 2-0 in the second period. She finished with 32 saves.
