Ridgefield boys soccer rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit Thursday to defeat Hockinson 4-3 in overtime with an own goal.
Hockinson took a 2-0 lead on two unassisted goals from Alonso Flores.
The Spudders started fighting back with a goal from Asher Adams in the 51st minute.
Joey Taylor then scored two goals, scoring in the 59th and 75th minutes.
In extra time, Grant Platta played the ball toward goal, but it hit a Hockinson defender and went into the net.
This could have been a key win for Ridgefield in the 2A Greater St. Helens League. The Spudders (3-0-1, 12 points) are alone in second place, three points behind undefeated Columbia River.
