UCLA football coach DeShawn Foster and his coaching staff continue to see the benefits of their improved recruiting efforts throughout the offseason.
Pittsburgh High School safety Jaydin Hudson announced his commitment to the Bruins on Saturday afternoon, becoming the 11th player to publicly commit to the Bruins. He chose UCLA over Tennessee, Ohio State and USC.
Hudson is unanimously ranked as a four-star prospect and is listed as the Bruins' second-highest commitment in the 2025 class behind Warren quarterback Madden Iamareva.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety recorded 53 total tackles (including two for a loss), six interceptions, four pass deflections and one fumble recovery as a 2023 junior.
Hudson made an unofficial visit to Westwood for the Bruins' Friday Night Lights practice on April 19, then returned for his official visit on May 13.
