Peyton Manning continued his post-NFL media career and is now part of NBC's coverage team for the 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremony. Manning will join Mike Tirico and Kelly Clarkson when the Olympics begin in Paris.
“This summer's Opening Ceremony will be unlike anything we've seen before. Kelly and Peyton will join Mike to watch all the spectacular action that will take place along the Seine leading up to the lighting of the cauldron. “We're excited to have the sights and sounds explained to us,” said an NBC executive.Olympic production producer and president Molly Solomon said in a statement.
The trio announced the news earlier this week during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Manning and Tirico also appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to promote the Olympics.
Manning is the ultimate pitcher in the sport, so it's no wonder NBC chose him to cover the Olympics. He appeared in a commercial promoting summer games during the 2023 NFL season.
