PEORIA (25News Now) – Peoria City Soccer Club announces new series and first international match.
Peoria City Soccer spokesperson Matt Sheehan said the first Copa Peoria Series will begin on June 9th, and Peoria City will host Chivas of Mexico's Liga BBVA MX League at 7:30 p.m. He said the second game will be against De Guadalajara's U23 team on June 12 at 7 p.m.30:30pm
Peoria City will also partner with CD Guadalajara U23 and Central Illinois Soccer Academy to host a Chivas de Guadalajara player ID camp, an evening meet-and-greet and full-day youth soccer camp featuring players from both teams.
