OU said in a release that this will provide an escape from the heat of the 11 a.m. game. Fans have had to endure the last few years. One fan agrees, saying he's been looking forward to the opening night games this weekend. This points to a future where kickoff times can be much better than in the past. I think the home schedule is probably one of the best on paper.
