Joe Sakic earned numerous accolades during his 20-season NHL career, first with the Quebec Nordiques as a first-round pick in the 1987 NHL Draft, then with Colorado after the Nordiques moved their home to Denver. -Played for the Avalanche. He won two Stanley Cups with Colorado, won the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP and the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
