The Oregon Ducks football team set a program record in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Ducks drafted eight players, breaking the previous record of having a total of six players drafted. This record has been broken four times, including last year.
Dak players were selected one after another in the fourth round. Notably, the Denver Broncos traded up for wide receiver Troy Franklin with the 102nd pick in the draft. Franklin will be reunited with his former Oregon teammate Bo Nix.
With the Knicks throwing the ball to Franklin, the speedster became Oregon's all-time leader in receiving touchdowns (25) and tied for most 100-yard receiving games (11).
Former Oregon Duck players drafted include:
QB Bo Nix – Round 1, Pick 12 (Denver Broncos)
Center Jackson Powers-Johnson – Round 2, Pick 44 (Las Vegas Raiders)
WR Troy Franklin – 102nd pick (Denver Broncos)
CB Kyrie Jackson – Pick 108 (Minnesota Vikings)
DL Brandon Doras – Pick 109 (Atlanta Falcons)
S Evan Williams – Pick 111 (Green Bay Packers)
RB Bucky Irving – Pick 125 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
LB Jamal Hill – Pick 188 (Houston Texans)
Denver is becoming a hub for the NFL's Ducks between Franklin, the Knicks and former Oregon State center Alex Forsythe.
The Atlanta Falcons may have drafted Doras No. 1. There was a generous feeling that Dorrus should have been talked about more during the draft process.
