Coming off the second-winningest season in franchise history, the Omaha hockey team released its full 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday.
The Mavs, who went 23-13-4 last year, will open with a home exhibition game against Wisconsin on Oct. 5. That night, the Mavs will honor Mike Kemp, who was a longtime assistant with the Badgers before becoming UNO's head coach.
UNO's regular season opener is the Icebreaker Tournament in Las Vegas, where the Mavs will face Massachusetts on Oct. 11 and then play either Minnesota or the Air Force the following night.
The home opener will be against Augustana on Oct. 18, and the Mavs will play their NCHC home opener against Western Michigan University on Nov. 7.
UNO will also play Lindenwood for the first time at Baxter Arena on Dec. 13 and 14. After the holiday break, UNO will ring in the new year at the inaugural Cactus Cup in Palm Springs, California, where it will face Holy Cross and either the University of Massachusetts Lowell or Michigan Tech.

UNO will play defending national champion Denver on the road on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. The Mavs' final home series of the regular season will be against Arizona State on Feb. 28 and March 1.
