The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris. Soccer will again be included in the competition this year, with both men's and women's teams competing in a shortened tournament.
Olympic rules state that the men's tournament must be made up of players aged 23 or under (born after Jan. 1, 2001) and allow each country to take part in three over-age players; there is no age limit for the women's tournament.
With the 2024 Euros and Copa America just concluded, many national teams are missing many of their star players, but some teams still look strong, including Argentina, Spain and the United States. As the host nation, France has automatically qualified for both the men's and women's tournaments.
