The 2024 Katie Moon Pole Vault Classic presented by Nike is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 8th at 3pm ET in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
Katie Moon, the 2020 Olympic champion and 2022 and 2023 World Championship gold medalist, will compete alongside a number of nationally renowned vaulters in the inaugural running of the event at her alma mater, Olmsted Falls High School.

2024 Katie Moon Pole Vault Classic
The event aims to celebrate the sport of pole vaulting and give back to the local community that has supported Moon for so many years by providing them with an opportunity to watch the sport's best hones their skills.
Prior to the start of competition on Saturday, Moon will be honored by having her name inscribed on the pole vault pit at Olmsted Falls High School.
Moon comes into the competition in top form, having set a 2024 world best record of 4.85 metres in his most recent competition in Chula Vista, California.
Of note, following Friday night's NCAA Division I championship in Eugene, Oregon, Rutgers' Chloe Timberg will whizz back from the West Coast and descend on Olmsted Falls for Saturday's celebrations. She'll be in some impressive company on the tournament's star-studded entry list.
