After more than a decade of wait, the EA Sports College Football 25 video game was released on Monday.
The OU football team had two players ranked on the EA Sports College Football 25 Top 100 Players rankings released last week.
Veteran defensive returner linebacker Danny Stutzman and defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. were ranked 52nd and 94th, respectively, in the video game, which is released on July 19. Stutzman was ranked 91st overall and Bowman 90th overall.
Stutzman was rated with 81 speed, 91 acceleration, 78 strength, 97 awareness and a jump of 88. Bowman boasts 94 speed, 97 acceleration, 65 strength, 88 awareness and a 93 jump for the game.
Stutzman is ranked as the No. 2 middle linebacker behind Iowa's Jay Higgins, while Bowman is ranked as the No. 4 strong safety. Twenty-nine of the top 100 players play in the Southeastern Conference.

Bowman and Stutzman are two of three players representing the Sooners at SEC Media Days in Dallas on Tuesday.

In the EA Sports College Football 25 Composite Team Rankings top 25 teams, OU is ranked 17th with an overall rating of 87. The Sooners rank behind six teams from the SEC, including Georgia (No. 1), Alabama (No. 4), Texas (No. 5), LSU (No. 8), Texas A&M (No. 14) and Mississippi (No. 15).
Additionally, OU comes into this game boasting the 23rd-ranked offense and 12th-ranked defense.
The Sooners' Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium was ranked the eighth toughest place to play in the EA Sports College Football 25 rankings. OU's home stadium ranks behind Texas A&M's Kyle Field, Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium, LSU's Tiger Stadium, Ohio State's Ohio Stadium, Georgia's Sanford Stadium, Penn State's Beaver Stadium and Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium.
The game takes into account historical statistics such as home winning percentage, home game attendance, consecutive home wins, and team prestige, and rankings are subject to change in future versions of the game. The Sooners hold the second-longest home sellout record in college football with 152. Known as the “Palace on the Prairie,” the stadium has a capacity of 80,126.
