The Oklahoma City Thunder hold a commanding 3-0 series lead over the New Orleans Pelicans, and the NBA has updated the scheduled tip-off time as the series moves to New Orleans.
After the Los Angeles Lakers avoided elimination by winning the first game of their series against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, the league decided to showcase this series on the biggest stage.
There are three games scheduled for Monday's NBA playoffs as the Lakers leave La La Land and head to the Mile High City instead of Cancun. That series will all include the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat series and the Thunder/Pelicans series.
As usual, the Eastern Conference battle will begin in the earliest time slot at 6:30 on TNT. This sets the stage for the Turner doubleheader, where the Purple and Golden will square off against the Nuggets at 9 p.m.
Sandwiched between these two events will be Game 4 between the Thunder and Pelicans, which will be broadcast on NBATV at 7:30 pm CT as Oklahoma City looks to win it all.
This is the first time a game in this series will be broadcast on a different channel than TNT. If the Thunder are unable to close out this series on Monday, Game 5, back in Oklahoma City, will be held at an unspecified time on Wednesday.
