FARGO, N.D. – The 2024 college football season opener between North Dakota State University and Colorado State has been rescheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29, at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.
Start time and television network have not yet been determined. Details are expected to be announced at the end of May, when the Big 12 and other major conference network partners will set their broadcast schedules.
NDSU fans must request tickets for the Colorado game on GoBison.com by Tuesday, April 30th at 4:00 p.m. Tickets will be allocated based on NDSU's priority points system. Travel packages are offered through NDSU Team Makers.
North Dakota State University under first-year head coach Tim Polasekwill face Colorado for the first time in program history. The Buffaloes are in their second year under head coach Deion Sanders.
The Bison are 9-4 against FBS opponents after a 31-28 loss to Arizona, ending a six-game winning streak in 2022.
NDSU has wins over Kansas State (6-3 in 2010), Kansas State (24-21 in 2013) and Iowa State (34-14 in 2014) against Big 12 opponents. He has a record of 3 wins and 1 loss.
It will be North Dakota State's first Thursday night game since the 2009 opener, when the Bison lost 34-17 to Iowa State.
The visiting Colorado Bison will play their home opener against Tennessee State on Saturday, September 7th at Gate City Bank Field in the Fargodome.
