The Philadelphia 76ers fell short of another win, losing 106-79 to the New York Knicks in Manhattan on Tuesday. Philadelphia trailed by 21 points in the first half and was up to 33 points into the game. New York is a much more physical team and it showed all night.
For the Sixers, Tyrese Maxey returned from a four-game absence due to a concussion and scored 17 points in his return. He was able to get to the basket with some success and was able to make some tough shots from deep to propel the Sixers forward, but it wasn't enough.
Tobias Harris had a particularly bad night. He scored just two points on 1-of-6 shooting and was scoreless in the first half. The Knicks competed with him physically and didn't allow him easy looks on offense.
