The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 107-86 in Sunday's final regular-season game, ending the season with eight straight wins and a record of 47-35. It was a solid performance for a Sixers team that needed a win considering their East playoff standings.
That being said, Philadelphia is headed to the play-ins. The Sixers lost in a three-way tie against the Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers. The Magic earned the 5th seed, the Pacers the 6th seed, and the Sixers the 7th seed.
Philadelphia will host the No. 8 seed Miami Heat in a play-in game on Wednesday.
For the Sixers, Tyrese Maxey had 26 points, Tobias Harris had 21 points and eight rebounds, and Buddy Hield had 19 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Paul Reed added 13 and 12 rebounds.
