The NBA Summer League has kicked off, with 30 teams gathering for the annual showcase in Las Vegas from July 12-22.
Some teams began play early in the California Classic Summer League (July 6-10 in San Francisco and Sacramento) and the Salt Lake City Summer League (July 8-10).
In the summer league, the team will compete with a squad made up of newly drafted prospects and second-year players, including top rookies such as Zachary Lisacher, Alex Sarr and Reed Shepard.
Another player to watch is Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James, who will be making his debut in the California Classic game. The team will also feature G League players, two-way players and veterans competing for roster spots.
In Las Vegas, each team will play four games from July 12-19. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs. Two semifinals will be played on July 21, followed by the final on July 22. The remaining 26 teams will play a fifth game on July 20 or 21.
