It was a good weekend for the home team in the first game of the NBA playoffs. All eight of the home teams won their respective first games, most of them in relatively easy fashion. On Sunday, only the nightcap matchup between the Pelicans and Thunder was decided, with top-seeded Oklahoma City narrowly holding off New Orleans.
Three more contests are scheduled for Monday, with Game 2 featuring the Cavs vs. Magic, Knicks vs. Sixers, and Nuggets vs. Lakers.

What does the NBA playoff bracket look like?
The Boston Celtics took the top spot in the East, and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the defending champion Denver Nuggets to become the top seed in the West. The brackets for the 2024 NBA Playoffs, which started today, are as follows:

How to watch the NBA Playoffs
The NBA Playoffs will be broadcast on four channels: ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. You can watch the game using your cable subscription or live TV streaming service.
Three of the five major services offer all four channels. Hulu, which has live TV, doesn't have NBA TV and only shows a few playoff games. Fubo doesn't have TNT to show for the majority of the NBA playoffs, making Fubo a poor choice for his fans. You can also watch his TNT broadcasts of his playoff games with Max.

Max's ad-supported plan costs $10 per month and shows TNT broadcasts of NBA playoff games. If you only use Max, you'll miss out on games on ESPN, ABC, and NBA TV.
Live sports on Max will soon require the $10/month B/R Sports add-on, but you don't have to break the bank just yet. Warner Bros. Discovery is deferring charging customers for add-ons at this time and is including them in the standard subscription.
