The NBA playoff conference finals have been decided, and only two teams will have a chance to compete in the 2024 NBA Finals.
The Boston Celtics earned their spot in the NBA Finals by sweeping the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals and will be playing in their first NBA Finals since losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2022.
The Dallas Mavericks are looking to reach the NBA Finals for the first time since winning in 2011 and need one more win to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves and clinch the Western Conference title.
Each team must win a best-of-seven series to advance. All four rounds of the NBA playoffs are best-of-seven, and teams are not reseeded after each round. The team with the better regular season record in each series has home court advantage in that series. All series are played in a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the team with the better record hosting games 1, 2, 5, and 7 (if necessary).
ABC and the ESPN app will have complete coverage from the NBA playoffs through the 2024 NBA Finals, which begins on June 6th.
