June 12, 2024 12:20 AM PST
Former NBA player owns Los Angeles-area home Patrick Patterson I was robbed last week… and now… TMZ Sports I learned that the police were pursuing the culprit.
Law enforcement sources said the break-in happened just before midnight on June 7, when two men wearing all black, masks and gloves, were recorded on Patterson's security system searching his home.
The pair reportedly took two large bags containing the former Raptors forward's belongings and arrested him before LAPD officers arrived on the scene.
It is unclear what was stolen from the residence, but our sources tell us police believe the men were killed and fled with the stolen items.
Police were notified and have begun an investigation, but we have heard that no arrests have been made in the case yet.
Patterson began his NBA career after being drafted 14th overall by the Houston Rockets in 2010. He spent the next 10 years in the league, playing for Sacramento, Toronto, Oklahoma City and the Los Angeles Clippers, scoring 4,782 points in his career.
