Kyrie Irving struggled for the second straight game, shooting 7-for-18 from the field and 0-for-3 from three-point range, with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists in 41 minutes of playing time.

“Kylie has yet to make the Finals,” Perkins wrote.
Irving was the team's second-best player and was in the midst of a fantastic postseason.

Irving's struggles are even more notable because All-Star Luka Doncic has played so well.

Meanwhile, for the Celtics, 2021 NBA champion July Holiday led the team with 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block on 11-of-14 field goal attempts and 2-of-4 three-pointers.
The Mavs are currently down 2-0, but Games 3 and 4 of the series will be played at home in Dallas.
