Raghav Jamwal is a stalwart in the martial arts world, a three-time national grappling champion and an accomplished modern pentathlon qualifier at the 2015 Beijing Olympics. His focus is set on his next challenge, inspired by his impressive performance at the Asian Championships in Tagaytay, Philippines, and the World Championships to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from October 7th to 12th later this year. He is firmly set on winning gold at the championships.
The fighter, who previously competed in Olympic qualifiers and won two gold medals in three domestic grappling competitions in 2021, also helped his country win a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in the Philippines in May.
Reflecting on his multifaceted role in the world of martial arts, Raghav said, “Aside from my own performances, I have had the privilege of managing the Asian Championship team.” “Another of my athletes, Jitender Chauhan, won two bronze medals in the over 100kg category.”

“In one match I won with technical superiority and gave the world champion a tough fight, but in the end I fell short. But in every match I gave my all and left everything on the mat.
