Former UFC superstars Nate Diaz and Jorge Macidal are set to meet in a rematch, but this time it won't be in the UFC Octagon or under the rules of mixed martial arts. Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz face off in a boxing match.
Ariel Helwani revealed a huge boxing event featuring Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz on his MMA Hour show.
Ariel Helwani posted the official poster for the Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal boxing event titled “Last Man Standing.”
According to Helwani, the fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will take place on June 1st at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, USA.
The boxing match between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will be a 10-round 175-pound light heavyweight boxing match.
Fans can purchase pay-per-views from Fanmio PPV, the same company that hosted Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather, Logan Paul vs. Arnold Slap Fighting Champion, and more.
Helwani tweeted: “Breaking news: The Nathan Diaz x Jorge Masvidal deal has been finalized. The two will compete in a 175-pound light heavyweight boxing match on June 1st at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. will compete in a 10-round bout. This event is presented by Fanmio PPV, which also promoted Mayweather x Paul in 2021.”
“The PPV is available for purchase at the early bird price of $49.99 (sale starts at $79.99) at Fanmio.com until Friday, April 12th. Ticket information for the live event will be announced soon. Fanmio is pleased to announce that Diaz's Real Fight Inc. We are collaborating with Vidal's Gamebred Boxing Promotions to host the event,” Helwani's tweet concluded.

Jorge Masvidal warns Nate Diaz before boxing match
This won't be the first time Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will face off at UFC 244 for the BMF championship. The match ended in controversial fashion, with doctors stopping the fight after Nate Diaz suffered a deep cut to his eyebrow.
Now, both UFC icons are looking to settle their rivalry and prove in the boxing ring who is the true BMF on the planet.
