ANAHEIM, Calif. – A rematch between former UFC stars Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal is now official, with both fighters making it through the weigh-ins and set to meet on Friday in a light heavyweight boxing showdown.
Diaz weighed in at 175.6 pounds and Masvidal at 175.2 pounds, so the weight wasn't an issue for either man.
Diaz and Masvidal then engaged in a final, stoic showdown, which you can see in the video above.
Diaz vs. Masvidal is a rematch of their MMA bout for the inaugural BMF title at UFC 244 in November 2019, which Masvidal won by third-round injury TKO.
The rematch will take place Saturday at Honda Center and will headline an 11-bout boxing card available on pay-per-view, DAZN and UFC Fight Pass.
