Washington DC (July 13, 2024) – Nashville Soccer Club lost 2-1 to DC United on Saturday night at Audi Field. Though Tyler Boyd scored his second goal of the season in the 19th minute to give them an early lead, Nashville SC couldn't maintain its advantage.
The match was notable for another reason as it marked an important milestone for the club's youth development programme. Isaiah JonesJones, an 18-year-old homegrown player, made his competitive debut for Nashville SC. He signed with the club on February 7, 2024, becoming the first Academy graduate to make an appearance in a competitive first-team match.
