The college hockey season may be over, but the revolving door of transfers continues to turn. This week saw more action for Bemidji State's men's and women's teams.
On Monday, Logan Acheson entered the transfer portal. The sophomore defenseman played in 28 games for the Beavs this season, posting two goals and two assists for four total points.
Later in the week, junior goaltender Abby Thompson will also enter the portal. She saw ice time in 20 games this year, allowing just over five goals per game and her save percentage was .867.
Acheson is the fourth Beaver player on the men's team to leave, but they added two players through the portal, including Niagara University's leading scorer, senior forward Carter Lundkleff.
On the women's side, Thompson is the third player and second goalkeeper to head the ball in the portal. On the flip side, Penn State senior goaltender Josie Bothan is the only player still on her way out of the portal.
