MMA star Tim Wilde suffered a brutal knockout loss at the hands of Manoel Souza at Bellator Belfast.
The lightweight pair took part in a bout in the Northern Ireland capital that promised to include a fireworks display.
And Souza lived up to those expectations after landing a sensational left hand with just 10 seconds left in the opening round.
The referee immediately intervened to prevent further damage, and Souza scored a walk-off knockout, leaving fans stunned.
One said: “Another KO of the Year candidate kicks off tonight's @BellatorMMA main card with a face KO of Manoel Souza.”
Another added: “I was spinning.”
One person said, “Oh, I just folded it up like a chair.”
Another person commented: “As expected.”
The Professional Fighters League acquired Bellator in 2023, and the two once-rival promotions merged this year.
And the PFL has decided to keep the Bellator brand alive for eight shows per year as part of the newly established Champions Series.
