UFC star Khamzat Chimaev has been embroiled in allegations surrounding his promotion of the cryptocurrency “Smash.” According to online reports, “Bolz” encouraged his followers to buy “Smash” tokens, driving their value up to $1.35. Less than a day later, the tokens plummeted by more than 91%, raising suspicions of a pump-and-dump scheme. Cryptocurrency research firm ZachXBT said:Khamzat Chimaev and his team released a cryptocurrency called Smash… and within 24 hours, he had stolen the coins and up to $1 million from his fans.”
