Jorge Masvidal wants drug commission to retest Conor McGregor
The comeback of the decade will finally happen as Conor McGregor takes on Michael Chandler on June 29th at UFC 303. McGregor has finally returned after hurdles delayed his appearance as USADA wanted the former two-division champion to undergo multiple drug tests before re-entering the Octagon.

McGregor has passed several drug tests since then, but Jorge Masvidal appears to be having some issues with 'Notorious' over the same. When asked by the media for comment on McGregor's return, Gamebread said drug testing agencies should do more testing. “I don't know, but try that mother. You know, we're all tested here. USADA has been knocking on my door for years. I don't know if people are taking drugs. I don't want to see people not getting tested properly, because if I'm going to get drug tested, everyone should get drug tested.” Masvidal said.

Conor McGregor passed all drug tests by USADA and DFSI this year and late last year. Interestingly, McGregor is one of the most tested fighters this year. And while this issue gathers more heat, let's shift the focus to Alex Pereira and Dana White.
Alex Pereira faces a new challenge
Alex Pereira's successful title defense against Jamahal Hill at UFC 300 was overwhelming. Pereira finished “Sweet Dreams” in the first round, clinching the victory. Having broken the spell of light heavyweight since 2020, 'Poatan' now seems to want to make a journey to heavyweight.
@Dana White It doesn't matter how many people I knock out for a shot at the title, I'll do it and I'll be the champion, keep them in line
— Magomed Ankalaev (@AnkalaevM) April 16, 2024
However, it seems Pereira has some unfinished business in the “LHW” department. 2nd ranked fighter in the light heavyweight division, Magomed Ankalaev called on UFC CEO Dana White to give him a chance to win light heavyweight gold. He picked up the X-handle and said: “@danawhite it doesn't matter how many guys I knock out for a shot at the title. I'll do it and I'll be the champion, keep them in line.”
Magomed Ankalaev's last win was against Johnny Walker earlier this year, and the Russian has been demanding a title fight ever since, but there has been little response from the UFC CEO. Nevertheless, let's shift our focus to something else related to UFC 300 for now.

UFC 300 witnessed a moment where time seemed to stand still. Max Holloway vs. Justin Gaethje was a masterpiece. The five-round bout to defend the “BMF” belt ended with Holloway KOing Gaethje with one second left in the final round. When Holloway dropped Gaethje in a classic moment, the entire arena erupted, including referee Mark Goddard.
Goddard was shocked to see Holloway knock out Gaethje in the final round. After the fight, the Englishman continued that he did not expect Holloway to do such a thing, considering he had won most of the rounds. He also urged UFC management to release the microphone audio of his first scream in 20 years of his career.

But it appears Goddard's reaction has somehow provoked former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. Goddard's words made their way to social media and were shared widely in one of his social media posts, Cruz said. “It's not about the referees – it's just about their lives and the athletes fighting for their lives. [money bag emoji]” Cruz's comments appear to have been made without any connection as fans called him out. Nevertheless, what do you think about Dominic Cruz's reaction?
