The University of Missouri football team's recruiting efforts have captured the college football world's attention throughout June, with three-star cornerback Mark Manfred committing to the Tigers on Sunday.
“1000% committed,” Manfred wrote on Twitter on Sunday night.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound product of Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia, is the No. 36 cornerback and No. 38 recruit in the state, according to 247 Sports.
Manfred becomes the Tigers' 12th commit in the 2025 class, joining running back Jamarion Morrow, wide receiver Sean Terry, quarterback Matt Zollars, offensive tackle Jack Lang, edge rusher Daden Hopkins, linebacker Dante McClellan, interior offensive lineman Henry Fenuk, defensive lineman Jason Dowell, safety Dillon Williams, linebacker Kason King and edge rusher Joshua Lewis.
Manfred's signing was on the 5th of this month, Fenuk selected the Tigers on June 10th, Williams did the same on the 11th, Morrow selected on the 14th and Terry signed on the 20th.
Manfred's commitment has raised Missouri's 2025 class from 32nd to 23rd in the 247Sports team rankings, swapping spots with Miami and ranking No. 8 in the SEC.
During his junior season, he recorded 57 tackles, five tackles for loss, one interception and one forced fumble, and also excelled as a receiver, catching 14 catches for 178 yards and three touchdowns.
Manfred was also a threat on special teams, averaging 28.8 yards on 13 kickoff returns and scoring two touchdowns, and also averaged 18.1 yards on 11 punt returns.
The recruiting news is expected to continue to heat up as a number of top prospects visited Columbia this weekend, including wide receivers Corey Sims (three-star), Donavan Olugbode (four-star) and Jayvan Boggs (three-star).
