Misfits Boxing 13 was held in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday night, but nothing took place for more than an hour as fans and fighters were evacuated from the arena.
Misfits Boxing 13 suffered a horrific delay on Saturday night as the arena was evacuated following an alleged 'swatting' incident.
Swatting has become a popular prank on the internet in recent years, in which people place a hoax call to report a serious crime to emergency services, which are then responded to by a SWAT team. The entire arena at Worldwide Stages in Tennessee was evacuated following reports of a possible bomb attack following the second round match between Lil Kula Kula vs. Yudi Gang.
Commentator Todd Grisham said: “We've been contacted by security that there was some kind of threat or some kind of incident. They're clearing the arena, stopping this match after two rounds. We're also being ejected. We have to. We're going.” Take a little break to make sure everything is okay and everyone is safe…expect. ”
The live feed stopped for almost 80 minutes, and the broadcast switched to a still screen of an empty boxing ring. “Sorry to disturb you. We are working to restart the event as soon as possible,” a message appeared on the screen. Misfits Boxing boss and YouTube star KSI tweeted the following in response to the incident: “I've never seen an event where I'm watching it live. It's different in America.”
Once the event resumed, Grisham said, “I apologize for the slight delay. Basically what happened is that local law enforcement officials, out of an abundance of caution, decided to do a thorough safety screening of everyone. “We have asked them to leave the arena.” They did it and got all the permissions so the show will go on. ”

KSI claimed that those who smacked him would receive heavy punishment for their actions, saying, “Well done to whoever made the bomb threat. This makes Misfits 13 the most talked about event. The event is back and the thieves will be prosecuted and arrested. Long day. A VPN won't save you.”
The match between Lil Kura Kura and Yudi Gang was postponed and then ruled a no-contest, but the other three matches scheduled for the card took place. A 2-on-1 match was scheduled for the main event, but Twitter personality Most Wanted was absent, so Fox the G only faced Evil Hero instead.
