Minnesota girl in the big city
In the film, she's now 13 and attending hockey camp, but must decide whether to stick with her old friends or become a big hockey star and leave them all behind.
As you can imagine, various emotions step in and get in the way even more, and the feelings inside her won't stop the fight.
Voices of Minnesota in Film
What's hard to believe for Minnesotans is that Kendall Coyne Schofield, captain of the Minnesota women's professional hockey team, has been tapped by Pixar to voice a hockey announcer for a movie.
She posted on Instagram about the film's opening night in two locations, including Chicago and Los Angeles, and said she can't wait for everyone to see this amazing movie.
