The highly anticipated bout between boxing legend and Hall of Famer Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has been rescheduled to November 15th following a health scare for Tyson. The bout will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and will be streamed live on Netflix as originally planned.
As USA Today On May 31, the bout was reportedly postponed due to Tyson's ulcer worsening. Most Valuable Promotions, of which Paul is co-owner, announced the rescheduling of the bout on June 7, which was later confirmed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The card's co-main event would feature a rematch between super lightweight champion Katie Taylor and unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano for Taylor's belt. The first bout quickly became a classic, and Tyson had personally encouraged a second bout in the lead-up to the bout.

Lawrence Kosinski, a Chicago-area gastroenterologist and member of the American Gastroenterological Association's board of directors, approved of the original decision to postpone the fight, writing in an email to the outlet that “this shows Mike Tyson the respect he deserves for the health of his digestive system.”
The fight has been met with both anticipation and criticism, with many believing that at 54, Tyson is too old to fight Paul. There has also been much speculation about the rules for the fight, with some saying fighters would have to wear headgear and knockouts would not be allowed, but none of these rules will apply in the fight as currently sanctioned.

Over the past six weeks, MVP has worked with our partners to complete the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to sanction the Paul vs. Tyson fight. We are pleased to have reached this point.”
In a news release issued by Netflix on June 7, Tyson stated his intention to defeat Paul in the ring: “While we have had to postpone the fight, I will resume training immediately.
“I'd like to thank the medical staff who treated me, MVP, Netflix and AT&T Stadium for working hard to find the best rescheduled date for all involved,” said Mike Tyson, whose recent ulcer recurrence forced him to take a break from training on doctor's orders. “A new date has been set, but no matter when we fight, the outcome will be the same: Jake Paul will get knocked out.”
