Mike Tyson has thrown shade at Jake Paul ahead of their boxing match.
Coming up soon is a professional boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul on Saturday, July 20th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will be streamed worldwide on Netflix.
Tyson, who will be 58 years old at the time of the fight, has a record of 50 wins (44 KOs) and 6 losses in the ring.
Paul is much younger at 27 years old, but has a record of 9 wins (6 KOs) and 1 loss in the ring.
There has been some banter between the two boxers in the lead-up to their summer bouts.
It was during a recent press conference to promote the event that Mike Tyson questioned Jake Paul's punching power, leading to him firing on Nate Diaz in the process.

“He couldn't even knock out Nick Diaz…How's he going to knock me out?…Who's this guy Anderson Silva?” How are those little guys going to knock me out? ”
Of course, this comment caused a big laugh from the crowd, as the former heavyweight champion confused “Nate” with “Nick” Diaz. It was Diaz's younger brother Nate who fought and lost to “Problem Child” on August 5, 2023.
Maybe it was a senior moment?
Regarding Mike Tyson bringing up the fight between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva, The Baddest Man on Earth continued:
“What's that other guy, Anderson Silva, he didn't knock those little guys out, so how's he gonna knock me out?” Who did he knock out, little kids, he knocked out? I haven’t, I’ve never knocked out a real man, come on…”.
Jake Paul faced Anderson Silva in October 2022 and won by unanimous decision.
The Tyson vs. Paul fight is scheduled for eight rounds.
Tyson ended his press conference with a warning to Paul.
“Once he gets in that ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it, because it is.”
