Mike Tyson will return to the ring in July for an exhibition match against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
Tyson, best known as Iron Mike, has had many nicknames throughout his career, but there are three he hates. In his 2013 autobiography, Undisputed Truth, Tyson opened up about his rough childhood in Brooklyn, New York.
He talked about how he was bullied by other children because of his living situation. “I was scared to be inside the house, and I was scared to go outside,” Tyson confessed in his book. “By that time I was attending public school and it was a nightmare.

“I was a chubby kid, very shy, almost like a girl, shy, with a lisp.'' Tyson's appearance to others made him a target for bullies. I did. They bullied him for being who he was, for being with his sister, who he was always told to be with, and for not having proper public facilities at home.
“My children used to call me 'little fairy boy' because I was always playing with my sister. But my mother told me that Dennis was older than me and that I should stay close to her. '' Tyson recalled. “They also called me 'Dirty Ike' and 'Dirty Motherf*****' because I didn't know about hygiene back then,” the Express reported.

Tyson shared stories from his childhood that included hardships such as not having hot water for showers. His mother tried to educate him about cleanliness, but his mother's methods were not very helpful, he said.
“There was no hot water to take a shower, and if the gas was turned off, you couldn't boil water,” he added. “My mother tried to teach me about it, but she didn't teach me much. She did a good job. She took some soap and filled a bucket with hot water and washed me.”
he continued. “But when you're young, you don't care about hygiene. I ended up learning that from the older kids on the street. They taught me about Brut and Paco Rabanne.”
Tyson had a difficult life, dropping out of school at the age of seven due to bullying. By the age of 13, he had been arrested 38 times. Even though he dropped out of high school, boxing became his salvation.
Tyson began his professional boxing career at the age of 18, winning his first fight against Hector Mercedes by TKO in the first round. Notably, Tyson defeated Trevor Berbick to win the WBC heavyweight title, making him the youngest heavyweight champion in history at just 20 years old.
As his fame grew thanks to his incredible boxing abilities, he was given catchy nicknames such as “Iron Mike,” “Kid Dynamite,” and “The Baddest Man on Earth.”
Tyson, who is said to have a “scary” strategy against Paul in future fights, may earn another nickname for his skill. However, three nicknames will always be associated with him, especially when related to difficult times in his life.
