After facing Jake Paul in the boxing ring, Mike Perry now wants to put Dillon Danis in the cage.

The man known to fans as “Platinum” is enjoying a resurgence in his career. After leaving UFC in 2021, Mike Perry moved to BKFC. Since then, he's won five straight bouts, including wins over former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez. Now, he's ready to step into the boxing ring.
Mike Perry will face Jake Paul on DAZN pay-per-view on July 20th. “The Problem Child” was originally scheduled to face Mike Tyson on that date, but the legend was forced to pull out of the bout due to health issues, and will instead face Perry. The former UFC star has a history with the Paul brothers and was previously Jake's sparring partner.
Last year, Mike Perry served as the backup boxer for Logan Paul's fight against Dillon Danis. When “The Maverick” was injured during fight week, it seemed like “Platinum” would take his place. Perry went head-to-head with Danis in October of last year, but was ultimately dominated by Paul. However, it looks like this won't be the last time these two MMA fighters go head-to-head.

BKFC's Mike Perry reveals plans to face Dillon Danis after boxing match with Jake Paul
In a recent interview Mixed Martial ArtsMike Perry spoke about his future plans, revealing that he was in talks to fight Dillon Danis in MMA before signing the contract to face Jake Paul. It may be a while before he faces “Problem Child” this summer, but Perry is still open to facing “El Jefe.”
“It's funny,” Mike Perry said in an interview. “I was still watching the fight with Dillon Danis. We all know how he performed in boxing, so that wasn't going to be a boxing match. I don't want to make excuses. I was supposed to fight him after I beat Jake Paul, but after I beat Jake Paul, I was honestly able to calm down a little bit and let things unravel around me.” (h/t Mixed Martial Arts)
He continued, “…I absolutely owe BKFC a favor. I absolutely have to come back for them. They have plans to have me back by the end of the year. It could be that they already know who it's going to be, or I could face Jake Paul. The possibilities are endless. I could fight Dillon Danis in MMA and then fight for BKFC, all by the end of the year. Or I can just sit back and see what happens. Maybe I beat Jake Paul in boxing and then I'll fight someone like Anthony Joshua.”
