DraftKings Sportsbook recently released odds for several Michigan Wolverines football games next season. Naturally, the Wolverines will be favored in some key matchups, but they are currently projected to be a double-digit underdog on the road against Ohio State.
Here are the announced odds for the Michigan Wolverines.
- Season opener: Fresno State vs. Michigan State (-22). Not surprisingly, this is a smaller opening line than the -35 against East Carolina last season.
- Week 2: Texas vs. Michigan (+3). In what will be a featured game in Week 2 of the season, the Wolverines are trailing slightly against a Texas team expected to rank in the top five in the initial AP poll.
- Week 4: USC vs. Michigan (-11). USC will be visiting the Big House for the first time as a member of the Big Ten. Will the Trojans bring in a defender?
- Week 6: Michigan (-9) vs. Washington. The Wolverines' first road test of the season won't take place until the National Championship rematch in Week 6. But as many changes as Michigan State went through in the offseason, Washington State endured even more.
- Week 8: michigan vs. Michigan (-24.5). Well, at least closer than last year.
- Week 9: Oregon vs. Michigan (+2.5). Michigan is expected to fall short again at home against an Oregon State team that could open the season ranked within the top three.
- Week 12: Michigan (+10) vs. Ohio State. The Wolverines are expected to lose by double digits against Ohio State for the first time since 2017.
The good news is that with the expansion of the College Football Playoff, losing a few regular season games won't bog down the season. According to DraftKings, the Wolverines have his fourth-best odds to win the Big Ten (+550) and his eighth-best odds to win the National Championship (+2,000). The University of Michigan's total number of wins now stands at nine.
